Myles King
Myles King, originally from Brooklyn, NY, is a graduate of the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance. At Purchase, he received the Adopt-A-Dancer Scholarship and the 2022 Outstanding Senior Dance Award. Myles is currently a guest artist/choreographer with the Manhattan Ballet and Movement Center. He is also on faculty at the Manhattan Ballet and Movement Center, Take a Bow Performing Arts Center, Kim Jay Dance Company and Ms. Aly’s Dance Studio. Myles has formerly performed as a company member with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company and as a guest artist with the Traverse City Dance Project and the New England Academy of Dance. Myles’ choreographic commissions include the Joffrey Ballet School and the Manhattan Ballet and Movement Center. His works have been presented at the Battery Dance Festival, the Florence Gould Theater, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School, the Park Avenue Christian Church and the SUNY Purchase Dance Theatre Lab. Myles has performed works by notable choreographers such as Igal Perry, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Robert Battle, Bradley Shelver, Mike Tyus, Chanel DaSilva, Darrell Grand Moultrie and Jae Man Joo. His previous training includes The Ailey School and Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School and he has additionally attended summer intensives at The School at Jacob’s Pillow, The Ailey School, Ballet Academy East and the Dwana Smallwood Performing Arts Center. Myles is the team’s newest faculty artist, teaching Theater Jazz on Saturdays, 12:30–2:00 PM.
Evita Re
Entering her fourth season with MBMC, Evita brings her focus on Martha Graham technique to her Thursday Modern class. A member of our company artists, she most recently captivated audiences as Aurora in this season’s Spring Concert production of Sleeping Beauty.
Evita Re is a NYC-based dancer, choreographer, and educator bringing a combination of classical and contemporary dance education to her teaching philosophies. She trained at The Ailey School and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. Her teaching combines technical precision, musicality, strength, and artistry to develop confident, expressive dancers.
Héloïse Ponsonnet
Héloïse Ponsonnet is a professional dancer from Lyon (France), currently based in New York. Graduated from the National Dance School of Marseille (France) in 2019 and the Certificate Program at Peridance Center in 2022, Héloïse has since gained extensive experience with companies such as Felice Lesser, MorDance, Mark Bankin Dance Theatre, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, WDTanzTheater, and more.
Héloïse is no stranger to the MBMC stage — she’s guested with us in both The Nutcracker and our Spring Concert, bringing beautiful classical and contemporary training to every role. This season, she’ll return to dance with us in The Nutcracker once again — and now joins us as faculty, teaching Pilates Mat Flow and Adult Ballet on Wednesdays.
